Strip Poker: The Most Exciting And Rewarding Game?

Poker is one of the most popular games played today, and there are numerous variations on the game - but none are more risqué than the strip poker game.

The general idea of the strip poker game is similar to that of traditional poker but if a player loses a hand they must remove an item of clothing. There is no set variation of poker that can be played with strip poker, but it is usually just a simple variation with only a few betting rounds such as a five-card draw.

The rules of strip poker are by no means set in stone. Usually all players start off with an equal number of items of clothes, although this is usually flexible. It is an adult-oriented game, and often the game has added elements to the clothes removal including options such as truth or date being included.

Although no one is completely sure of the origins of strip poker, it is thought to have originate in New Orleans around the same time that original poker was created in the 19th century. It was originally played in brothels. However other people say that it began as an all-boy prank during the 1930’s. It was later renamed “mixed strip poker” to differentiate the non-sexual boys strip poker from the new mixed gender adult version of the game.

Over the years there have been several television shows based on the strip poker game. Many of these were set in Europe, including Tutti Frutti in Germany and Italy in 1990; and Rasypokka in Finaldn in 2002. The USA has also had several strip poker themed television shows including Strip Poker in 2000, and Everything Goes from 1981-1988.

One of the main decisions in choosing how you want to play strip poker is at what pace you want to play it at. Some people want a fast game, others want the game to take up more time.

If you are strapped for time, the fast paced version of the strip poker game is your best option. In this version every hand goes to a showdown amongst players, and every player except the winner has to take off an article of clothing. Doing it this way means that it doesn’t take long until someone is butt naked and declared the loser of the game!

If you have slightly more time on your hand, a medium paced strip poker game is a better option. With this version, at the end of each round only the player with the worst hand has to take off an item of clothing.

If you really want to slow things down and take your time, why not try the slowest version of the strip poker game. The slow version incorporates elements of real poker into the game, by using chips like in a traditional game of poker. The player who runs out of chips at any point in the game must remove an article of clothing. At this pace you will be playing until the sun comes up!
